Two storied legacies - now one

Two storied programs with over 50+ years of history each. Swedish Cherry Hill - originally known as Providence Cherry Hill hospital - widely known for it’s passionate advocacy for empowering underrepresented communities. Swedish First Hill - originally known as the “Doctor’s hospital” - acclaimed for it’s full spectrum training and advocacy for health equity. These two programs now unify to create Swedish Family Medicine Residency (SFMR) beginning in June 2027.

Now combining, SFMR will be able to take the historical strengths, resources, and expertise from both programs to provide rich, full-spectrum training for Family Medicine residents to take on the challenges of today and the future.
